Vista Hospitality Company today announced the opening of its hotel in Windsor under the name Ramada Plaza Hotel & Suites. This 150-room property was acquired by Vista from AFM Hospitality Corporation. The hotel was initially a Howard Johnson's. Vista has spent in excess of $2,500,000.00 to do a complete repositioning and renovation of the entire hotel, which includes entire new marble lobbies, refurbishing all guestrooms to a complete and new condition and redoing the entire facade of the building. Signage on the building together with a huge message centre is planned as the next capital item, which is scheduled to go up within a month.

Vista is extremely proud of this mid-market, upscale property. We believe the property is able to meet the requirements of the corporate traveller, the tour groups, as well as the transient traveller. The suites will allow for family reunions and the executive floors will allow for the corporate traveller to be comfortable at this hotel. A restaurant entitled `Café Select offering a full menu including a broad range of coffees and desserts has opened as well.
